Mitsubishi build the Electric Truck for Farmer

The era of electric cars in the future is a necessity. It was thought by Mitsubishi. Plans were made, one of which is a birth plan an electric-powered light trucks.



Mitsubishi as reported by the Nikkei is currently finalizing plans lightweight electric-powered delivery truck that was due to their birth in April 2013 as reported by autonews, Friday (30/12/2011).

And because this is a light truck, the target is none other than farmers and entrepreneurs in need of a conveyance, a position currently occupied by Mitsbishi Colt.

According to the plan, Mitsubishi will also market the commercial electric vehicles globally and it is expected by 2016 had reached that level.

For the price, chances are the price of the Mitsubishi electric trucks will be controlled. Because Mitsubishi is currently targeting to get huge subsidies to 1.5 million yen, or approximately USD 175.3 million from the Japanese government as part of Japan's support to the development of environmentally friendly cars.

As for the hybrid, Mitsubishi will also make a commercial vehicle with a base Outlander to be issued also in April 2013.

The move is part of Mitsubishi's ambition was intending to make himself the leader of the electric car era with the birth plan 8 electric or hybrid vehicles worldwide by the year 2016.

For fiscal year 2012, Mitsubishi is able to target to sell 42,000 vehicles worldwide, or twice the amount projected for the current fiscal year.
