2011 Fiat Bravo Hatch Receives Minor Updates

2011 Fiat Bravo Hatch Receives Photography 1Fiat Bravo arrives with two potent motorizations – the national 1.8 16V E.torQ with mechanical transmission or Dualogic, and the imported 1.4 T-Jet with 6-gear transmission – and three finishing versions – Essence, Absolute and T-Jet – very well equipped.

2011 Fiat Bravo Hatch Receives Photography 2Fiat Bravo, for example, can be equipped with up to seven airbags – two frontal, two front sides, two for the protection of occupants’ heads, besides one for protection of the driver’s knees. With Dual Drive® electric steering, it arrives with avant-garde technology like fog lights with cornering system, NAV™ Radio, Xenon headlights, front parking sensor, folding external rearview mirrors and a new Skydome sunroof.

The two available motorizations for the new Fiat Bravo offer excellent performance, fuel economy and low emission levels. Both are compact and modern.

The E.torQ 1.8 16V engine puts together high performance and economy, with excellent torque at low rotations. Driving only with gasoline, its power is 130 hp at 5,250 rpm; with ethanol, 132 hp at the same rotation. And the maximum torque of 18.4 kgfm with gasoline and 18.9 kgfm with ethanol, is reached at 4,500 rotations. But at 2,500 rpm, the engine already produces 93% of its torque.

It equips the Essence and Absolute versions of the new Fiat Bravo.

Now the 1.4 16V T-Jet engine equips the sportive version of the hatchback. This compact gasoline turbo engine produces no less than 152 hp of power and 21.1 kgfm of torque at 2,250 rpm.

Small engines with performance of large engine are a strong trend in Europe. Their advantage is that, when not required, they are so economical as any other motor of the same capacity. To obtain this formula, an especially developed turbo compressor is employed to overfeed the engine with lesser capacity.

2011 Fiat Bravo Hatch Receives Photography 3The T-Jet engine comes coupled to a 6-gear mechanical Italian transmission.

Get to know below the hatchback versions:

* Essence 1.8 16V Flex with transmission mechanical
* Essence 1.8 16V Flex with transmission Dualogic
* Absolute 1.8 16V Flex with transmission mechanical
* Absolute 1.8 16V Flex with transmission Dualogic

The New Fiat Uno special and Review In Latin America

One of the abundant affidavit of pride for the Fiat Style Center for Latin America is the absolute action for conception of the new Fiat Uno, but this would beggarly little if the end artefact was not special. And the new Fiat Uno is special.
From the alpha of the conception process, designers formed ancillary by ancillary with a analysis studio, allurement questions, presenting proposals and accepting feedback.
The rationale: by alert to the client, it would be accessible to awning and clarify his/her suggestions in adjustment to actualize actually the car of his/her dreams. What the designers begin out was that the aboriginal Fiat Uno, the icon, should be the starting point for an actually new car. The Fiat Style Center started drafting the new car, and the analysis bent if it was actually what the applicant wanted. The answers acicular out the aisle to be followed.
The result: an actually aboriginal concept, humorously called "Round Square," which guided the absolute development of the new car.
And what is actually a annular square? Going from the figure Uno and its aboveboard shapes, the designers created the "New Square": pop and modern, the evolution. To accord it a shape, they acclimated bounds from Automated Design (industrial drawing) - instead of the acceptable attempt of Automotive Design, with its curvier, active curve - to actualize the annular curve of the new model.
Adopting the aboveboard as a reference, a car with geometrical, counterbalanced shapes was conceived. The squares with curves booty aback to Fiat Uno, but, at the aforementioned time, represent a abreast abstraction and a trend from now on. Press Release:

Fiat 500C by Diesel debuts in Japan

Fiat 500C by Diesel, the new cabriolet version of the model jointly created in 2008 by Fiat and Diesel, the famous clothing and lifestyle brand, will debut in Japan on 12 April. The Fiat Café in Aoyama (Tokyo) – an exclusive location, which has become a byword for sociability and Italian style – has been chosen for the prestigious event, which will be attended by representatives of the establishment, the world of culture and the press, in addition to Diesel founder Renzo Rosso and the top managers of Fiat Group Automobiles Japan. The car will then make its European debut on 15 April at the Milan Furniture Fair in front of the splendid Diesel flagship store in the renowned Piazza S. Babila.

The Fiat 500C by Diesel will be marketed worldwide - in Italy from May, with an on-road price starting from 18,000 euros. Nearly 6,500 units of the already available limited-edition saloon version have already been sold. The new cabriolet "by Diesel" confirms the extraordinary capacity of the "500 Project" to continuously evolve with the addition of new versions. This is precisely one of the secrets of the undisputed success of the Fiat 500, a genuine pop icon and expression of the concept of "massexclusivity" ("non-exclusive exclusiveness"), which a few days ago reached the target of 500,000 units produced in only 31 months after having been launched.

In detail, the 500 by Diesel is distinguished by some bold aesthetic features, starting with the exterior. Everything is exclusive for this version, the result of the creativity of two teams of designers: the aggressive 16" alloy wheels, the rear trim with imitation air intake where one of the most famous logos of Italian fashion is set, the yellow brake calipers (only on the 1.4 100 HP version) and the satin finish chrome painted details, including the mouldings which with their bosses evoke the atmosphere of the Diesel fashion world. The interiors are also highly customised, sporting a dark denim style fabric with yellow stitching, a fifth pocket with the unmistakable Diesel brand, the head of the famous "Mohican" on the gear lever knob and the special satin chrome coloured dashboard.

Just like the saloon, theFiat 500C by Diesel also combines two apparently distant worlds: fashion and motoring. In fact, they have some important concepts in common, such as talent, creativity, charm and innovation, the winning ingredients of Italian style, which is famous worldwide.

Finally, according to markets, the Fiat 500C by Diesel range comes with four Euro 5 engine versions (1.2 69 HP, 1.4 16v 100 HP, 1.3 Multijet 75 HP with DPF and 1.3 Multijet II 95 HP); manual 5 or 6 speed gearboxes (petrol engines can be fitted with a Dualogic 5 speed robotised gearbox); and three body and top colour combinations: the distinctive green with black top, the elegant black with black or red top and the original "Midnight indigo" blue with ivory top. The latest two innovations of the Fiat 500 by Diesel stand out: a second-generation 1.3 Multijet II 95 HP (Euro5) turbo diesel with Start&Stop system as standard, with emissions of just 104 g/km of CO2 and "Midnight indigo" blue, an intriguing metal-flake body colour which - with a finer paint texture and almost 3D effect - is reminiscent of the look of stone-washed fabrics.

Fiat prepares new Multipla

Fiat Multipla
In 2012 Fiat prepares to present new generation Multipla – it will come in the stead of the old car with the same name which has been shown for the first time in 1998, transfers Auto Motor and Sport.

It is remembered, then Multipla has made dual impression. On the one hand very pleasant impression was made by the big 6-seater interior (on three armchairs in front and behind) which was combined with really huge area glazing. But with another – appearance of this car of many confused. The restyling made in 2005, has improved a situation a little, however, and he has not allowed to increase sale seriously.

New Multipla too will receive unusual appearance, but, apparently, it will be already impossible to frighten of this car small children. And in its basis there will be a platform from Dodge Journey. Yes-yes, from Dodge – Italians have decided to start use operating time of the American partners (do not forget that Fiat owns a large share holding of concern Chrysler).

Fiat To Build Alfas In China?

fiat Alfas

Will China soon have domestically-produced Alfa Romeos? That’s the story according to Ward’s Auto, which cites a “well-placed” source. Apparently, parent company Fiat SpA is almost ready to sign on the dotted line with Nanjing and Chery to assemble the Italian cars in the world’s fastest-growing automobile market.

Fiat is apparently hoping to have Chery assemble the cars, but it already has a joint-venture agreement with Nanjing, which is slowing negotiations. If the deal with Chery is to go through, Fiat will likely have to divest its 50-percent stake in the existing JV partnership with Nanjing, a move which could happen soon.

Fiat hopes that it can begin producing some 30,000-35,000 Chinese Alfas in 2009 (startin with its 159 sedan), with the eventual possibility of exporting to other markets, including Mother Italy.
