Subaru Forester 2.5 XT full review

Subaru show Legacy concept real face and body

subaru-legacy-concept-car-1Marking the 20th anniversary of the Subaru Legacy, then CONCEPT OF LEGACY has been developed to show the sporting legacy of the capabilities and features of Subaru symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system mated with Boxer engine-against horizontal. The design concept is based on wheelbase 108.3 in. larger designed to maximize interior space and provide comfortable accommodation.

Four powerful and defined wheel arches emphasize the dynamism of Symmetrical AWD. Sharp design lines carve out a substantial mass as they flow from the hood, across the roof to the trunk, while the sharp body lines project a sense of strength. Wedge-shaped Side Rear Vision Cameras are featured and provide a sense of flow from the momentum of the A-pillar lines. A character line runs from just before the A-pillar and sweeps up to the tail just above the taillamps.

Subaru logo separates the lattice shape in the center accented by sharp headlights with vertical layout of the dual-row dual LED lights. In addition,, a thin fog lights arranged vertically in front of nets with large air intakes angles add a touch of jewel-like front design. The CONCEPT OF LEGACY finished in a special high-sheen "Ultimate Silver" paint to accentuate the angle of the designs.

Comfort and style are achieved with a mixture of touch screen, camera and cover the modern surface. 2011 Subaru Forester

Subaru Stella Custom RS S Edition STI

Subaru decided to release a STI version of the Stella, the Subaru Stella Custom RS S Edition STI (You’ve got to love the tongue-twisting name). Unfortunately this Stella is for the JDM market.

The Subaru Stella Custom RS S Edition STI upgrade is just in the visuals section. It includes: STI chin and roof spoilers, Leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, STI logo on shifter, Sport pedals, Carbon fiber interior trim HID low-beam headlamps, 14″ gunmetal aluminum wheels.

The Subaru Stella Custom RS S Edition STI is limited to 500 cars and with this limited figure, I believe Subaru fans out there in Malaysia just can pray that someone will import this Stella.

it depends on how much you are intending to mod either one. if youre going to get the car and not mod it at all, then the subaru sti would kick ass every single time, but you'd be better off getting an evo. however if youre going to mod the shit out of the car and want to run 9's with it, you would want the civic, but youre going to get beat by any evo with more than 3,000 in the engine.

Subaru launched the 2008 Legacy and Outback models at the Detroit show, and while it's largely business as usual for the all-wheel-drive duo, there are a few revisions that the Subie fans amongst our readership might find interesting.

After its kid brother, the Impreza, has gotten a new face time and time again, the Legacy and Outback have now gotten their turn under the knife. Sheetmetal up front is the biggest change for 2008. The Legacy gets a new, bigger, chromed-up grille; restyled bumpers front and rear with shorter overhangs; and new headlights and taillights. The Outback gets a bigger, more upright and rugged-looking grille, plus restyled fenders, restyled hood and new wheels. Stability control will be offered on more models, and a tire pressure monitoring system becomes standard. Both models also get some revised features inside.

The 2008 model year also marks the debut of the range-topping Legacy 3.0 R, transplanting the 3-liter DOHC 245-hp Flat-6 engine that's already under the hood in its Outback sister car. Paddle-shifters for the 5-speed auto are also new, and the car bobs and weaves on a Bilstein suspension setup. And while it may not have the clout of a premium German badge, the 3.0 R makes a compelling case against the usual suspects from Europe.
