2010 Honda Odyssey Review

The 2010 Honda Odyssey is the best upscale handling minivan around. The 2010 model is largely unchanged from the 2009 but has more advanced features and a significant styling difference. The Odyssey has had such an impact on buyers that it displaces the Dodge Grand Caravan as America's best selling Minivan and has high ratings from Kelly Blue Book and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

2010 Honda Odyssey ReviewThe 2010 Odyssey is the ultimate car for the family! The Odyssey comes in the LX, the EX, the EX-L, and Touring models. This car definitely makes the appropriate accommodations for spacing on the inside as the second row bucket seats and third row seats fold flat into a cargo-storage area in the floor. Need even more room? Also as a space saver, there are removable jump seats that slot in-between the second row pockets for a passenger capacity of eight. The car has a lot of cool new features including leather upholstery, tri-zone climate control, a sunroof, XM® Radio, Honda DVD Rear Entertainment System, and a Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System(TM) also with voice recognition and a rearview camera ( for those hard to back into areas). The new Odyssey also has a Homelink® remote system, Bluetooth® capabilities, a rearview mirror with rearview camera display, and as stated before, one-motion 60/40 split third-row Magic Seat® with in-floor storage.

2010 Honda Odyssey ReviewHonda also decided to upgrade the Odyssey under the hood with cool new features. The car has a 3.5 Liter SOHC VTEC® V-6 engine with a 5 speed automatic transmission that produces 244horsepower. This engine is standard across the board, along with a Drive-by-Wire(TM) throttle system. However, exclusive to the EX-L and Touring versions, the car comes with Honda's Variable Cylinder Management(TM) (VCM®), which increases fuel economy.

The most impressive of the 2010 Odyssey is by far its Safety features. These key features include, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, an Anti-lock braking system, Electronic Brake Distribution, and driver's/front passenger's active head restraints. The car also has a plethora of airbag safety systems like, the dual-stage multiple-threshold front airbags, front side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System, and three-row side curtain airbags with rollover sensors. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration tested the cars frontal and side impact crash results and in conclusion gave the car 5-star frontal and side ratings.
